MISSION for MAY
Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is a global organisation dedicated to overcoming the barriers of isolation by using aviation to bring help, hope and healing to the world’s most isolated communities. Mountains, jungles, swamps, unrest and impassable roads isolate millions from essential services and hope. But with planes, we overcome these barriers, bringing help, hope and healing to those in need. MAF has around 117 aircraft serving in flight programmes and training centres ,has around 1,400 staff serving around the world, flights serve around 1,500 organisations, flies over 9,400 nautical miles every day, an aircraft takes off or lands every 5.6 minutes, daily, MAF flies more than 370 passengers and over 11,900 kg of freight (excluding passenger baggage allowances). Following Jesus’ example, we care for both physical and spiritual needs with compassion and love. Millions still lack access to medical care, clean water, education or the Good News of God’s love. By partnering with over 1,500 aid, development and mission organisations, we are transforming lives, one flight at a time.
The heart of everything we do is a simple: we serve together to
bring help, hope and healing through aviation to see isolated people
changed by the love of Christ.
